As a graphic designer, there are many tools and products that help me run my business daily. From my computer down to my planner, I use these items to help me stay organized as best as I can.
I was approached a few months ago about redoing the St. Alban’s Episcopal Day School website this summer. With a launch goal in mind of August 4th (right before back to school) we started our website project late June – early July by getting all the components and materials together and started on the creative concepts and overall look of the website.
I recently had a past customer in a dilemma with their domain names. They had re-done their website and had switched over to a new platform. Of course, there is absolutely no issue with that but seeing what they went through to get traffic to their new site got me thinking that I should write a blog post on what to do and not to do with your domain names when switching over your website.
