Happy Launch Day to McCullough Expressions! I connected with Lauren a couple months ago as she was wanting a fresh new logo and website design. She loved her current brand colors but just wanted a little refresh so we got started with a custom new logo! Check out the before and after:
The three camera iris’ represent the different entities she provides in her business: photography, videography and on-camera talent. We kept the same color palette as her original branding but softened up the logo and created a more luxury but casual feel.
We also created a sub-mark logo so that she can use for branding purposes and/or a watermark for images:
Sub-mark logos are a great addition to your branding (our branding package includes sub-mark logos automatically) so that you have a couple different options to play with as far as marketing materials and packaging materials go. You want something that compliments your logo but very clearly matches your branding so there is no confusion when someone sees it.
The final component of her new brand was a new website refresh! One of the main things Lauren wanted when rebranding her logo and website was the intention of more customers finding her. She was hosting her website on Wix (which you can read this post here to see the difference of show it vs. wix) and wanted something that was going to convert more viewers to clients.
We redesigned her website so that it makes sense and clearly showcases the different services she offers without confusing people. We lightened it up by using mostly white and lighter tones for the backgrounds to make her brand colors pop and showcase the images more.
